We write and appreciate tanka poetry, while learning and sharing with fellow members.
About this club
CJC Bluebell Tanka Group is a group of tanka enthusiasts with links to Canberra. Each month, members bring along one or two tanka they have composed, and whilst exchanging impressions of the works—which are presented anonymously—they deepen their appreciation of tanka and refine their own composition skills.
Members’ works are also featured in the CJC newsletter, and on special occasions, the group produces anthologies of selected poems. It is a group where members can participate comfortably online whilst sharing the beauty of Japanese expression and a sense of the seasons with fellow enthusiasts.
